m.twitter.com would be even greater if...
Ofcourse I'm a happy twitter user and I use the Mobile version quite often. Would love to see the following improvements in the m.twitter.com:
> Replies tab!
> Up to 20 messages on one page just as the regular web based site
> direct messages access/composing
Maybe others have additional wishes for the mobile site (http://m.twitter.com)

Inappropriate?Yeah i really need the replies tab, i will build my own this weekend

Inappropriate?Replies will be cool (we won't need sms anymore!) and direct message functionality would make it it much easier as well.

Inappropriate?hi everyone,
I agree!
w3lab: if you do build something, share share :-)
FWIW, when I'm on the phone, I mostly use m.twttier.com, but I occasionally use http://itweet.net/ for these reasons
1. they have reply
2. everytime you refresh the page, they'll show you just the new ones since you read last time.
Unfortunately, they're down often and a bit slow, so I still resort to m.twitter.com

this is one of the best points

Inappropriate?I completely agree about wanting to have
1. the Replies tab; and
2. access to direct messages
in Twitter mobile.
As to composing direct messages -- you can actually do that in Twitter mobile using the same input box that you use to post updates.
You just need to follow the syntax: 'd username msg' (no quotes)
Ex. d roeland This is a sample direct message
The above input will be interpreted by Twitter as a direct mesage to the user named roeland and will be sent provided that roeland is following the sender. And since it is a direct message, it will not appear in your public timeline.
Note however, that the "username" must be the Twitter username that appears in the recipient's Twitter profile.
Also, some people make the mistake of starting the message with "droeland" with no space after the 'd' (I think they're been so conditioned by concatenating the @ symbol, such as @roeland). Since Twitter doesn't see the 'd' it treats messages like that as regular Twitter updates, and those therefore are NOT private.
I’m in a good mood

Inappropriate?Please please put a replies tab/link in m.twitter!
Time and time again I've missed stuff being mobile because with a large following list the replies zoom past the (understandably) short m.twitter page.
Bring it on!
I’m excited for this feature

Inappropriate?Hi guys & gals. In order to use twitter on a mobile site smoothly i've setup a clientsite for mobile phones which utilizes the Twitter API and giving you almost all Twitter options as you would have on the regular site.
Visit this ultimate twitter clientsite for mobile phones @ http://m.slandr.net
I’m happy
