merging acounts?

Hi, we're an alt weekly and a few months ago someone signed us up for a Twitter @weeklydig and we have since started one @theweeklydig

We cannot located the phone # for the @weeklydig account and therefore cannot access it (the email address is rsvp@weekldyig.com), however, we would like to merge both account into @weeklydig for sake of simplicity. Is such a thing possible? Can we merge the two into one account and still keep all our history and followers?
