Missing avatars post re-design. Why?
Why have most of the avatars of the people/orgs I'm following disappeared from my home page since the redesign? Is there a way to change this?

Inappropriate?D'oh. Found the answer in "Known Issues," to wit:
"Your profile page shows the wrong pictures in the sidebar
If you followed or un-followed someone and your profile page isn't showing the correct information, this is a result of database replication lag.
What, huh? What that basically means is part of Twitter understood and honored your request, but another part of Twitter is running behind on carrying out the order. Not to fear-- when things catch up all the pictures will display correctly. In the meantime, you might see pictures of people you stopped following, or, you might not see pictures of people you have recently followed. People started noticing this on Saturday."
I’m happy... if it gets fixed.
