my account has erroneously reach a tweet limit

My @OtW_InGame account is one I use for livetweeting Detroit Red Wings games. It's inactive after games and on days between games, with a few exceptions. I planned on using it tonight for a game, but only got six tweets before I was told I'd reached the tweet limit. In TweetDeck, it behaved as though I was sending a direct message to someone I don't follow. This was nearly an hour ago and it's still locked, despite only generating six tweets since Tuesday night. What is going on?
