My account is auto-sending DM's, make it stop!
When I look at my outbound DM's, I am automatically sending messages saying "Welcome! You can join the discussion by sending 'd john_ragsdale msg'" I am not sending these messages, how do I get them to stop?

Inappropriate?Actually, I am trying to set up an auto DM... how did you do it???
Thanks -
Inappropriate?Go to settings/connections and revoke any applications access
-
Inappropriate? Thanks Emma. I've done that, there are zero applications with access, but the DMs continue.
I’m frustrated--Twitter is far more complicated than it should be.

Inappropriate?Have you changed your password?
-
Inappropriate?what if I've done it through an application which I don't remember and it is not listed in the "settings/connections" area?
if I use a new "plug-in" to include a new DM, would this by-pass the old one? -
Inappropriate? This is happening to me as well the DM's from my account say "CourtKram: i told my friend i would get somebody to take this quiz thingy here. http://whossmarterthan.info" how do i make it stop!???!!!!???!!!!
I’m mad

Inappropriate? My account did not send any auto DM's after I changed my password. I think this may be fixed. Emma is wonderful!!! My advice: if you have revoked access to all applications and auto DMs continue, change your password. It seems to have worked for me.
I’m Thrilled!
