My Twitter archives before July 08 has disappeared
I registered my account in March 2007 and I have been using Twitter actively since late 2007. However today when I went back through my old Tweets I notice there is nothing in my history before July 2008.
Where are my old Tweets? Has my history been deleted?
My Twitter account has been a record keeping exercise of my life - I feel like someone's just burned my diary.

Here's the last reply (click here) I remember from a Twitter rep (in this case, Biz) regarding our old tweets. It was from around 2 months ago (excerpt below):
Hi Folks. Every tweet is saved forever and they belong to you. The fact that you can't access them past a certain point right now is an technical challenge that we're working on.
If all goes well, the next engineering update will fix the "Older" button and give you web access as far as 3,200 tweets back. I understand that is still an unacceptable limitation—we will continue to work on it. Additionally, you will be able to go more pages back on your home page timeline.
The fix for the Older button was indeed deployed and we should be able to go back to page 160 of our respective archives now. I just checked mine and the last tweet on p.160 of my account is dated June 3, 2007 (I had signed up in Sep 2006).
If you're not able to see at least until page 160 of your current archives, I believe the best place to report the problem is the thread regarding pagination: click here

Inappropriate?I noticed this awhile ago - but I don't think it's a numerical limit - it seems to be date oriented above a certain number - because mine go back that far too.
I’m annoyed

Inappropriate? It might be both, because looking back through a few larger Twitter accounts, it's cutting off history after 3,200 tweets.
I'm not there yet, but I hope that when my Tweet diary reaches 3,200 entries, you don't start to burn my history!

Inappropriate?I just started twitter and was excited as a virgin in love to see it keeping this haiku record of my life and the people I'm following. If not, tweeting will be fleeting, like life itself. We demand that our tweets be pickled in perpetuity!
I’m not thrilled
