Need Auto Following Activated, Waiting since 8/2
4 days ago, I requested to have auto-following enabled (via twitter.com/help's Submit a request link) for an account that I'm using for a convention next week. I made the request via the web help form and added a followup comment yesterday as well as filing a second duplicate request.
I haven't seen any response from the good folks at twitter. @tweettrak will provide the tracking functionality so that we can track hashtags (or other search terms) but it replies with direct messages which requires mutual following. I'd rather not poll all my followers and add them manually as it really isn't the right way to do it.

Inappropriate?Hello. In case you don't get a reply before the convention next week, there are two other third-party alternatives that provide auto-following capabilities: http://socialtoo.com and http://tweetlater.com
-
I actually tried tweetlater.com and was having some issue where my emails were being sent to them, but either not recognized, lost, or otherwise broken.
Rather then try to hunt that down to figure out why that's working, seems to me that the best way is to go right to the source.
Everything I see seems to say "just ask twitter to turn that on for you". I have.. 5 days ago now, still with no response from anyone at twitter.
I know they probably get a lot of requests, and are probably understaffed... but that's still no excuse. If they are overloaded by requests they should automate as much as possible.
This really shouldn't be that hard. -
Inappropriate?OK, I know that twitter people are really busy... too busy almost to deal with little requests like this... but waiting a week for something simple is just silly.
Is there any other way to reach twitter people other then submitting a request on help.twitter.com or complaining (apparently to nobody) here?
I’m frustrated

Thanks for the response! I know you guys are busy. BUT.. there's no 'C' in the name.. its @tweettrak and I waited until I got another follower to ensure that it still isn't activated. -
fixed-- auto-follow enabled for tweettrak, no c. I followed the account and checked your "following" page and voila-- there I am.
