New on Twitter and curious.

When someone is retweeted do they still get it in there @user ? So in a way they get their update again but from the person retweeting?? So if a user is getting retweeted a lot, their @user is verrry full..? This might sound like a very stupid question but yeah just curious. Because I feel as though it takes up all their space. -.-'
