No emails when someone follows

I have notifications set to email me when someone follows. I don't always get those emails, sometimes yes, sometimes no. How does that happen?

I have this problem, too! Tell me when someone solves it.
The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.

Remove Inappropriate?

I'm having the same issue. It's annoying because the follower emails used to be dependable.
