No, I didn't ask to restore my account. Why the email?

I think someone is trying to reactivate my deleted account. I got an email that read, "Glad to see you decided to restore your Twitter account." I have not decided now nor will I ever choose to restore my account. If this is Twitter's way of trying to get me to restore my account a) it's not working b) it's making me irate c) it needs to stop. If it's twitter having a security issue IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP. This is exactly why I closed my account, the utter mess that are it's "security/privacy" setting.
