Non-registered username and email apparently taken
I went to the registration page at https://twitter.com/signup, entered in my information, and clicked the submit button, and it claimed that my username and email were already in use. However, I attempted to go to the supposedly existent user page (http://twitter.com/programmer16), and it said the page didn't exist. Also, I tried putting my email into the password recovery form (http://twitter.com/account/resend_pas...), and it said it couldn't find my email address in the system.
On a side note, I attempted to report this problem using the "Submit a Request" form, but it never gave me an access key to check on the request.
If a Twitter employee could help me, I would gladly send my email address to them to get this problem fixed.
