Not able to add gtalk to new (main) account after deleteing other account

I can't add gtalk to my account! I had an account with a different emaila ddress, then deleted it yesterday. That account was added to my gtalk account, so when I added teh account to match my gmail account, now I can not add gtalk IM becuase it says its in use.

What should be done now if the other account has been deleted?
