Notification on tracks or @replies?
I want to receive all the @replies to me and tracks (if not replies, because I can track all the @Leech) via forced notification (like direct messages does).
It's working in that way or maybe tracks are case-sensitive and people that write: @leech instead of @Leech aren't catched by the Track?

Inappropriate?No one want's to get notified when someone reply you altought you're not following this people?
It's good to know new people, and also can be answered, if you ask something on the street, by someone you are not following.
But there's no way to track "@Leech", it uses the "Leech" so everytime anyone says Leech on twitter (a lot!) I get useless updates

Inappropriate?That's surprising! Normally, that's the message that you get if you had sent 'untrack.' Hmm.
Can you try sending just the word 'track' and see what comes back? It should tell you all the keywords that you're tracking.

Inappropriate?Is this still an issue? I am tracking a few different things. But the only thing I receive directly to my phone are DMs and those who I have elected to have those tweets sent to my phone for. I am not receiving any notification on items that I am tracking. (And I still haven't done anything IM related, so that is not the issue.) Is there some sort of setting I have to check in order to receive these on my phone via SMS? -
Inappropriate?Hi sfcitygirl. Yes, Track is still offline. You can check the status anytime by going to the Twitter Status blog at http://status.twitter.com and looking at the right sidebar.
You'll see that Track is highlighted in red. When you hover your mouse over the word "Track," additional info appears: "offline. Needs reworking" -
Inappropriate?You can now do this with search.twitter.com. Search for @username and then they provide an rss feed that updates with changes. In reality you can get a search feed for any topic you want.
