There are people on my home page, in my friend feed, who I do not know and am not following. What the heck? On this page it's tomato_s and haripakorss:

Inappropriate?Hi. Apparently, what you're seeing is a side-effect of the unscheduled maintenance work that Twitter had to perform some hours ago...
The Twitter Status blog has an update:
Update (2:20a): We’re out of maintenance. You may see updates from users you do not follow. This problem should not recur.
It's my understanding that the tweets from 6 hours ago will not be removed from our timelines anymore... But at least Twitter believes they have fixed the problem that caused it, so no further 'mystery' tweets like that are expected.

Inappropriate?I understand they are fixing this situation as @mdy mentioned, but it is a bit unacceptable that unknown person's tweet is found in my profile page (not the page with others but only my tweets are shown); "Isa07"'s tweet is inserted in my mikanshibano's tweets. Though I do not have any negative feeling toward both "isa07" and twitter's fixing team, it still irritates a little.

I don't know how easy it will be for them to remove it, but I think it can't hurt for you to ask Twitter support to look into it. You can log a support ticket at http://twitter.com/help

Inappropriate?Same here - someone else's tweet is showing up on my home page and also in my Archived tweets. Just submitted a trouble ticket to Twitter. Not cool.

Inappropriate?Yeah, this is really annoying. Someone suggested following the person and then unfollowing. But I am unable to follow this person, it just gives me an error. I blocked the individual and that didn't help. And now I'm unable to unblock in order to attempt the follow-no-follow method.

Inappropriate?Thank you @mdy, I will take a support ticket. Additional information for this problem I should leave here is: a tweet written by myself is completly missing from my page where Isa07's tweet "replaces" with. I remember I wrote that tweet when the Whale frequently appeared and told their maintenance message. Anyway, I hope Isa07 will enjoy her jazzercize!
