Phone Verified to Wrong Account

Hi, I verified my phone with Twitter but responded to the initial text from Twitter with my actual name rather than my Twitter username. How do I sync my phone with the correct Twitter account?

The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.

Remove Inappropriate?
Delete or Edit for 15 minutes

I had to put a 1 in front of my phone number when I added my device on Twitter. That linked my phone to the correct account, so I can now text updates to Twitter. Unfortunately, I accidentally created a second account on Twitter which I do not know how to delete. Whoops!
