Please let me specify separate notification preferences for IM and for SMS.
I really wish Twitter would let me specify the following for each person I'm following:
a) an IM notification preference; and
b) an SMS notification preference
Currently, there's just one notification preference per followee.
Since I'm in Asia and there's a cap in the maximum number of sms updates I can receive each week, it would be great if I can specify whose updates I absolutely want to receive on my SMS, and whose I'd rather get via the web or IM.
TRACK ALERT PREFERENCES
I'd like to have the same thing available for Track alerts (meaning specify that some keywords go to SMS while others go to phone).
For example, I would definitely track my username for SMS, but I'd want other Twitter track alerts to go to my IM.
Also, the delivery notifications are currently mutually exclusive (ON, OFF, Direct Messages) when ON in reality can be different combinations.

- Replies (as another possibility)

It's not that I don't want to know what the people I'm following are saying, but I don't need text msgs alerts from everyone on my list.

Inappropriate?I haven't used the TRACK feature at all since I've been getting some updates via SMS. I'd love to have that be separate and go straight to IM.

Inappropriate?This is an awesome idea, there are a lot of people I'd like to get notifications for, but not necessarily on my phone. IM would be perfect for some, but others SMS is needed. I hope this is implemented!! -

"Deliver All" option for IM delivery
I would really like to have the ability to specify whether I want all of the people following sent to IM or if I just want the people that I have marked as "send to advice."
I have a lot of people I follow on Twitter but some of them talk too much to deal with on SMS :) But if I am at my computer I would really like to include these people. I know there are applications to do this but since the API limits the number of refreshes it isnt functional for me (not to mention if I was able to do this through IM it would take a load off of the API)

Inappropriate?I agree! I don't want to pay for all the twitter SMS I get from some people, but I will pay for the SMS from certain people. When I'm at my computer receiving a tweet through google talk is practically free so send me everything!

Inappropriate?Great, mee tooo, I need this to be there very soon since Im going crazy over some repeating twitter bots that post same updates per minute basis.
First of all it'd be very nice if the BLOCK feature works for TRACK ALERTS, though it will help to keep my SMS LIMIT per week and definitely will reduce twitter TRAFFIC.
