problems with twitter commands and missing updates via sms

I recently have been experiencing some problems with some of twitter's commands via the sms (txt) service. I will send the command on usernameofperson and it wont return anything, i also have been experiencing some missing tweets being sent to my phone, meaning, sometimes when the people im following with device updates, post something, i wont even get it, but only happens sometimes.
other commands that arent working so well are those of fav usernamehere, off usernamehere and get usernamehere. Im curious as to what the problems are...

i have sorted out everything with verizon, are these twitter bugs permanent?
