Problems with Twitter username
I'm helping to support a Website, and a previous person working on it attached a cryptic Twitter username to it. Last week, I discovered that the Web site's name WAS available while I was logged in from another account, so I grabbed it. I deleted it a day or two later when I found I couldn't "transfer" a Twitter username to the account for the Web site. So now, when I'm logged in from the Web site's account and try to rename the username, I get an error saying that the "username is taken." Except it isn't. Is there anything I can do?

Inappropriate?Almost similar problem. We get "Screen name has already been taken" but when we search for a person in Twitter with that screen name, we get "We couldn't find anyone named _____." -
Inappropriate?I have exactly the same problem as andrea, which is actually different from Laurie Mann's issue.
I originally wanted to register my username as Thraze, but it appears as taken. Then, when I go to the 'find people' link to look over for the user registered as Thraze, it appears as inexistent. How come? Is it or is it not taken?
I already tried to change the username on my 'settings', but it just won't let me, telling me that the "username has already been taken". Maybe it's just a bug? Maybe is a long gone user and his/her username hasn't been released yet? If so, when will that username be usable again?

Inappropriate?I've never even made an account with the user name I want, and it says that it's taken already. So I search it, and can't find it anywhere. Just FYI, its for my video game group ReaperSquad, there would be a space, but usernames don't allow spaces (also stupid).
For Christmas, I'm going to ask Santa Clause for twitter not to suck so bad.

Inappropriate?I know someone else who is also having the same problem. He says he did something and then his name was taken. So it's taken by him, but now he can't use it.
