Really. No text hyperlinks?

I've read a couple of questions regarding Twitter hyperlinks and I am pretty sure I understand the responses. Just to be sure; however, the follow is my understanding: Twitter and all the various independent apps do not support the inclusion of a hyperlink in a phrase such "Chicago QuickBooks" where "Chicago QuickBooks" is a clickable link to my business web site http://joesquickbook...? Right?
