Receiving two SMS messages per tweet on Sprint PCS
When I get a long tweet sent to my phone from 40404, it is broken into two parts. However, if you add up the number of characters in both messages, it is always under 160. This is on Sprint in the United States.
Example: The message "macrumors: SDK support for hardware accessories via dock. Examples: FM Transmitter with radio app to tune. Also Blood Pressure cuff with app." is 141 characters. It arrived on my phone as "1/2 macrumors: SDK support for hardware accessories via dock. Examples: FM Transmitter with radio app to tune. Also Blood Pressure cuff wit" (139 characters) and "2/2 h app." (10 characters).
This just started happening about two weeks ago, before that all messages (except for some DMs) were one SMS, regardless of how long they were.
