Retweeting is driving me crazy.

Since a lot of the people I follow are designers, I see a LOT of the same posts retweeted from different people. I really don't care to see these posts over and over and over again.

I'd love to see a way for tweets to be consolidated. I'm thinking that the first person that tweets a link or post has ownership of that link. Everyone that believes this is worth retweeting can do so, but their feedback is added on to the original link. Every time someone retweets it the link is bumped back up the feed until you acknowledge that you've looked at or read that link.

That's just a thought. The most important thing is getting rid of all this duplicated content.
