Adam, what did you mean specifically when you say you want 'to twitter Rick Sanchez'?
If you want to get his updates:
1. Login to Twitter
2. Go to http://twitter.com/ricksanchezcnn
3. Look for the [Follow] button in the upper left corner and click that
If you want to send him an @reply:
1. Login to Twitter
2. Go to http://twitter.com/home
3. In the "what are you doing?" box, type "@ricksanchezcnn " then add on whatever message you want to send him.
4. Click the [Update] button.
If you want to send him a direct message (this is only possible if he follows you):
1. Login to Twitter
2. Go to http://twitter.com/direct_messages
3. Choose his username from the drop down list at the top of the page next to the word "Send"
4. Type your direct message into the box
5. Click the [Send] button.
Was there something else you wanted to do that's not covered by any of the above?

In your twitter home page select to follow Rick from the "Following" under Stats in the box on the right hand of the screen. Back in your home page again, see the box where it says "What are you doing?"
Type your message and it will appear in Rick's messages a little while later.

indydem, go to http://twitter.com/home to get to your home page (you'll need to login with your Twitter username and password). Once you've logged in, you'll see the box with the words "what are you doing?"

Inappropriate?I would like to reiterate: direct messaging (sending "D" messages) is only allowed if the person you're trying to message is following you.
to simply try to get his attention, try the @ricksanchezcnn method.

sidenote: methinks there must have been a misleading blog post at cnn. everyone on this page seems to think that Rick Sanchez's page is some sort of personal messaging system.

Inappropriate?@mdy: Consider embedding the "Watch a Video" link from Twitter in the future, to point out that there was a huge "Watch a Video" link on the twitter page explaining everything. These people come from CNN, they watch TV and claim to be "too old" to read how-to's on the web.

If you want to follow Rick on Twitter, by all means please do. However, this is a site for connecting with Twitter about customer service issues. Rick is not responding to these messages on Get Satisfaction, as far as I know. You should send him a tweet via Twitter.

Inappropriate?I cant believe I've wasted this much time on tring to hook up with Rick Sanchez on Twitter. I registered went through the process of that and I try to log on and get everywhere but Twitter. I wont waste anymore time on this, it's a joke.

Inappropriate?LOTS of folks have had DIFFICULTY attempting to sign up for Sanchez on Twitter, part of the difficulty encountered was due to TWITTER iself that got itself OVERWHELMED with those attempting to sign up..Once SIGNING up, have to wait til RESPONDED or basically OK'd to "FOLLOW" Sanchez, then can make quick, SHORT comments...Folks DO read here, problem is NOT always totally SOLVEd just by the brief explanations...ITs the sign up process that is lagging in ability to immediately allow INSTANT sign up and INSTANT ability TO comment and folks are rather frustrated for the circulatory "necessities" to do so ...What SHOUL:D be simple is NOT QUITE all that simple, even for those FAMILAR with online interaction/etc and the search for HELP is convoluted as well.

Inappropriate?Step 1. Add Ricksanchezcnn to your list of people to follow.
Step 2. When you reply to something he says, ask him a question or send him a comment, you MUST begin with @ricksanchezcnn. This will enter it into his archive of replies and also makes it a searchable result on summize. It will link your comment to him. This makes it possible for people to reach him even if he is not following you.
Step 3. Make sure your comments are relevant to the topic on air.
Step 4. Reply to all of the comments from his producers.
Step 5. Set up your cell to recieve all updates from him. Learn to reply w/ your cell.
Step 6. Last but not least, it doesn't hurt to have a smokin hot picture of yourself for him to notice/show on air.

Inappropriate?Guess What I'm going to post with MSNBC. however I watch Rick Sanchez at noon my time here in Angles Camp California....But I guess I'll just go over to MSNBC..since I've tried to get on Rick's Twitter Board, with NO LUCK AT ALL.....MAINLY I LIKE TO GET RICK'S COMMENTS HE SEEMS LIKE A VERY GOOD GUY DOING A GREAT JOB..But it is too hard to click on line and add my comments.......I love Jack Cafferty more than anyone else at cnn and Campbell Brown,,,,,I can't stand her her show is BS, and full of BULLS**T...She comes off as a non-journalists to me.and I'm a Woman too.........Sorry you just lost a watcher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
