Search rankings: How do they work? Plans to change them?
Are there any plans to redo the Twitter search rankings and incorporate, say, most-recent tweet? When I search a general term, I generally find people who haven't updated in up to a full year on the top pages. This makes it impossible to find tweeters I really want to follow because it would take tons of time to scroll through all the pages to find them.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Inappropriate?Hello. As far as I know, if you use Twitter search at http://search.twitter.com, you will see the most recent tweets first.

Inappropriate?Hello, mdy. Thank you for your reply. I want to find people to follow, though. So I want to search their bios and names, not just whether they said a word in a tweet. I've been using the feature on Twitter that allows you to search for people, but it has the problems I mentioned in my original question.

Oh yes. I agree that User Search behaves differently. I too would be happy to see it improved.
