sms from India not supported??
I cant get to verify my mobile by sending verification code sms to 5566511 in INDIA... seems my service provider does not allow sending it... so I also tried sending it to +447781488126 and it was sent successfully but received no confimation of any kind... please help... twitter.com/pramod7

Inappropriate?You're using the phone international number. Twitter changed it to +447624801423 and didn't update all of the help manual on twitter.com.
Because Twitter really sucks at tech support, apparently.

Inappropriate?The lack of tech support from Twitter is becoming more and more disturbing. It leads me to believe that the true nature of Twitter as an over-hyped, niche-market, barely significant flash-in-the-pan is finally becoming visible.

Inappropriate?I have tried more than a dozen times to send the verification code sms to 5566511. The message fails to send.
I can use short numbers to update my Tata-Sky satellite TV, so short numbers obviously work on BSNL post-paid.
I have also sent the verification code sms to +447624801423. The message appears to send, but I receive no response.
Is Twitter just a flash in the pan or are they serious about keeping customers and attracting new ones?
