SMS PIN problem
The SMS PIN thing doesn't seem to work for me. Leaving it blank (it's optional, isn't it?) produces the 'Invalid PIN' response.
I also tried to set a PIN, but after hitting 'Save' the PIN field would reset itself to NULL again. I'm lost...

Inappropriate? When I change my pin into blank and save, the old pin reappears.
-
I'm able to delete it but it appears that's just in the webpage that doesn't show it. I still get Invalid PIN replies when posting from SMS -
Inappropriate? This problem popped up for me this past weekend and it is really pissing me off. Completely unable to do any mobile Twittering. A little help please?
I’m enraged

I've added a PIN which seems to have solved the problem, but I don't *want* a PIN. -
Inappropriate? Some people, at least, find that Delete and start over? eliminates the unwanted PIN. Please let us know if this works for you.
See the thread How do I delete my PIN? for Magic Weaver's solution and for my fuller response.
Take a look at other threads tagged invalid pin, too.
I’m a little hopeful...

Inappropriate? This keeps happening to me too, I delete and start over, and then the next day the problem is back. It means I can't sort it out until I can get to a computer, so an entire day is lost, and then I have to pay for another text to twitter to set it up again.
I’m frustrated

This same thing is happening to me, I deleted the device and started over and I'm still getting the Invalid PIN. -
Inappropriate?Hi guys,
We thought we fixed the bug causing the invalid pin error. If you're still having a problem after deleting and re-adding your phone number once, please file a bug report here:
http://twitter.com/help/
and include as much information as you can, such as any errors received, and if you've tried deleting/re-verifying, etc.
You can also send an email to support@twitter.com, with an email subject "invalid pin."
We're working on it now, and hope to have a resolution soon.
Thanks,
Crystal
ps: including your user name in this or other threads you post in will help us solve the problem faster.

Inappropriate?I have just signed up and it doesn't work. First impressions of this whole Twitter thing are very unfavourable. I don't have a PIN and I don't want one.
I’m unimpressed

Inappropriate? We think we've fixed it; try deleting, re-adding, and re-verifying your number, and sending a message to Twitter. You should no longer get the invalid pin message.
