SMS Text random lost messages
I get only about 3/4 of the messages from a given friend via SMS text. I get all of them on the twitter website but I always notice that several are missing. That is, the website captures all messages from Sally but I only get some of her messages via SMS text. Why?

Inappropriate?The messages that you aren't getting: are they @ replies to other tweets?
I've noticed that tweets beginning with @username will be truncated or not come through via SMS at all. -
Inappropriate?Hi kg4jbj. I'm able to receive @replies on my sms without them being truncated.
But people on other mobile carriers (such as Verizon and US Cellular) were experiencing the same thing as you. See related thread. -
Inappropriate?I started noticing this last week too and its continually getting worse and worse. I'm finding that I am losing A LOT of tweets. Now its not only confirmed when I just happen to be at my computer and looking at my phone at the same time but I have a couple of times got seriously lost in a conversation because half of the conversation didn't get to me. I have also been getting a lot of duplicate SMS messages as well.
I don't know where the problem might be here.... its getting harder and harder to track down with T-Mobile having had their share of issues too but this time it seems to be more related to Twitter since I'm not noticing the other problems that I had noticed in the last ordeal with this.
