Some Tweets from people I follow are not showing up
I have noticed that sporadic tweets from people I am following do not show up on my home page. Not all, just some.

Inappropriate?Hi. Although I don't speak for Twitter, I think it might help them troubleshoot if you could kindly provide the following info:
a. your username
b. links to specific tweets sent by people you're following but which do not show up on your home page (so they can see if there's a pattern) -

I've looked through previous threads on this (or similar) issues, some of them quite old. I'm only posting here because the previous problems appear to have been solved.
However, I'm seeing the same sporadic tweetloss as the OP, so I'll toss out some data:

examples:
here are two tweets from one user that didn't show up in my timeline, though the preceding and following tweets (that were not @replies, of course) from the same user did show up:

Another example: from a series of (say) 5 tweets from this next user, updates alternately show and fail to show on my timeline:

(Out of curiosity, mdy, how can you use this info to troubleshoot? Or did you mean the twitter team could use it, internally..?)

Chuck, I suggest you log a support ticket at http://twitter.com/help OR send an email to support AT twitter DOT com, explaining your problem to them. They usually respond within 5 working days (sometimes faster if there's no request backlog).

Inappropriate?If you get many tweets at a time it wouldn't be hard for them to slip through the cracks. Also, it depends on the time that they were sent out. They may have been received after some other tweets, meaning they would appear farther back in the list.
