Something went wrong=blocked?
If you get the message "Something went wrong. Please refresh and try again" when you hit follow - does that mean the person you're trying to follow has blocked you?

Inappropriate?"Something went wrong" means one of two things:
1) Twitter burped and it is not allowing you to follow the person. Refresh the page and try again.
2) They blocked you.
To figure out if they blocked you or if twitter burped, simply send "follow username" to Twitter using whichever interface you like — SMS, web, a third party application, etc. and Twitter will interpret that as a follow command and not a tweet. If you still aren't following them after sending that command, they blocked you.
I’m happy to help — sorry for the delay.

Inappropriate?Another way to find out if they blocked you is to search their username in the search box then click follow, it will actually tell you then. It kinda sucks when you wanna know WHY they blocked you, but oh well.

Inappropriate? The other option is that you blocked them! Visiting their twitter page and checking the very bottom of the page should tell you.
Seeing as it was me that blocked them it would be useful if Twitter told me so when I tried to follow that same user instead of the generic "something went wrong message"
I’m perplexed
