Inappropriate? We've removed this one and we're working on all of the other "easyurl" accounts as well. They should be eliminated soon.
Thanks for the heads up!
I’m spam busting

I assume you've already tried searching Summize/Twitter Search for these accounts... correct?
edit: There must be a hole in the captcha signups... these accounts are popping up like crazy!!

Inappropriate?I've been "followed" by several people today who are following several hundred people or thousands, but only have a few followers, all are a female name with some numbers added, like Sheila894 ... they have one Tweet, like this: "is checking out the pics here lol on http://vivatuna.biz adults only" which probably leads to a porn site
I’m annoyed

Twitter Searched - 3 results. Hopefully twitter will get rid of these users today. Also, a search for vivatuna gives tons of results... -
Yes, I see those too. Twitter has already suspended dozens of them. I hope they get around to the newer ones as well.
Oh, and fwiw, you can now report Twitter spammers by sending a tweet to @spam in the format: "@spam @spammername Optional message" (without the quotes) -
Inappropriate?RE: you can now report Twitter spammers by sending a tweet to @spam in the format: "@spam @spammername Optional message" (without the quotes)
Does it also work with a direct message, e.g. "d spam @spammername Optional message" ?
I’m unsure
-
Great question!
Yes, if you follow @spam, it will automatically follow you back. Once it is following you back, you'll be able to report spammers via direct message, even if you unfollow the @spam account afterwards.
The syntax is as you've described: "d spam @spammername Optional message" (without the quotes)
