To Twitter: Not this OP: You all need to stop people from spamming and following people that don't want to be spammed by useless advertisements for their services. list this lamer...http://twitter.com/writearticles I've used the HELP link and still people like this are spamming...ban them! -
Inappropriate?Until a more streamlined spam reporting process is in place, Twitter receives spam reports through their support request page at http://twitter.com/help
Just select 'spam request' as the support type to make sure it gets the attention it deserves.
I’m in a good mood

Inappropriate? This guy started following me, too. It's clear that he is a spammer.
And no, I am not going to jump through hoops on your support request page. You guys need to add some "flag this account" functionality to twitter ASAP, or the spam problem is going to get worse, and users will be driven away from Twitter.
I’m annoyed

Inappropriate? There's a very active discussion on how people would like to report spam on Twitter in this related thread: Twitter asks -- how would you prefer to report spam? You may want to add your sentiments there, if you are so inclined.
You can also Block any account without having to jump through any hoops (not that there are any hoops on the support page, imho).

yay, twitter's finally doing something about that spammer. -
Inappropriate? We can now also report spammers by sending a Direct Message to Twitter's @spam account.
To do this, you'll first need to follow http://twitter.com/spam. You can then send a direct message to @spam either by:
1. Typing a direct message from the "What are you doing?" box
Ex. d spam @spammy1, @spammy2 are spambots!
2. Sending a direct message from your phone
Ex. d spam @spammy3 is yet another spambot
3. Composing a direct message at http://twitter.com/direct_messages
1 person says
this solves the problem

Inappropriate? My Twitter page is filling up with SPAM from two sources: http://twitter.com/InternetRadio and http://twitter.com/ferris_wheel. How can I stop that??
I’m frustrated
-
Hi Jed. Are you currently following @internetradio and @ferris_wheel? Meaning, you see messages from them on your Twitter home page at http://twitter.com/home?
If yes, you can stop following them so you don't receive their updates. To do that:
1. Login to Twitter
2. Go to http://twitter.com/internetradio and click the "Following" button in the upper left corner of that page. It will open up a panel with a "Remove" button. Click "Remove" and you'll stop seeing their updates on your home page.
3. Do the same thing with http://twitter.com/ferris_wheel
