Starring a post as a favorite fails to work.
When I try to favorite one of my post or a friends, it fails, the star turns in pulsing dot but it doesn't turn yellow or mark it in my favorites. I've tried it in Firefox and Safari, with and without javascript but it's a no go.

Inappropriate?I have tried to star my own posts, but am unable to. I can mark everyone else's posts as "favorites", and even my friends can mark their own posts as favorites. I feel left out!

Inappropriate?my friend is having this problem, www.twitter/joachim_joe, he asked me about it and I hadn't tried it because I had no need to. So I tried it, I can star my own posts they turn yellow and I've unstarred it too so it seems to work for me.
One question: when I star it what happens? I don't see a favs section...
Anyway my friend says nothing happens when he tries to star posts, again I don't have the problem so can't really say much.

Inappropriate?I recently noticed that I can't add my own tweets to my favorites whenever my account is set to private. As soon as I set my account to public, I can 'star' my tweets again.
I've logged a support ticket for it and Twitter has written back to acknowledge that it's a bug. Guess now we wait for them to fix it.
In the meantime, if there's a tweet that I really want to add to my favorites, I temporarily unprotect my account, star that tweet, then reprotect my account. -
Inappropriate?I'm now able to add my own tweets to my favorites (I have a private account). Has the problem been fixed for everyone else too?
