STILL no twitter updates to my Sprint phone: no errors, I can update via SMS, but no messages received from 40404.
STILL no messages from twitter to my Sprint phone: no errors, I can update via my phone, but no messages received from 40404. Deleting and re-verifying the device fixed nothing.

I did everything she recommended, and still receive Twitter updates. She then said to "file a support request". I have no idea if this qualifies, as nothing on this site is actually labeled "support request".
I am frustrated with Twitter, and so far this customer service site has been difficult to use, and come across as non-responsive to this problem. Please fix my Twitter update problem so I can go away and we don't have to deal with each other anymore.

You can submit a support request (a.k.a support ticket) via http://twitter.com/help .
You should receive an automatic email acknowledgement immediately.
A human response may take several days, since Twitter usually appears to have quite a backlog.
The main thread in which you posted is a better place than here for your further posts on this problem: they are likely to be lost in this lonely subsidiary thread.
