Stopped getting SMS updates and now can't verify phone

I stopped receiving SMS updates about 2 months ago. I removed my phone to re-add it as a device but now I never get the verification code.

I called AT&T (US) and they told me my account had plenty of SMS option coverage and no blocks on my account.

I receive SMS's from BrightKite, Sci-Fi channel, and FaceBook with no issues.
