Third-Party Jabber Server
Is it possible to access Twitter via a third-party Jabber server? That is, if I set up my own jabber server, can I send twits though my account on my server?
Or, does Twitter only support the jabber.org server?

Inappropriate?The Twitter Development Google Group has a page re: setting up a Jabber Server of your own.
However, that doc assumes that you're setting up the Jabber server to receive a high volume of tweets (not to send).
In any case, you may have better luck getting an answer from that group.
