Tracked tweets flooding phone! Untrack won't stop it..
The 'Untrack,' 'off' and 'stop' commands don't seem to be working. My phone is jamming up with tweets generated hours ago as a result of tracking the word 'lost,' a word used way too often in the English language as I'm finding out. Must I wait until my phone pulls in these 500+ text messages before twitter will respond to my plea to make it stop? Oh, sometimes it really HURTS being a newbie....

Inappropriate? The FAQ page for Track says you can use any of these commands:
- untrack lost ---> stops tracking the word lost
- untrack all ---> stops tracking everything. So other terms that you're currently tracking will also be removed.
- track off ---> stops the sending of all tracking updates but Twitter still remembers the terms that you've tracked. "track on" restarts them -
Inappropriate? Thanks, I used all of the commands, i.e. 'untrack all' last night. I see this morning that twitter finally responded. But not until about 130 messages rolled in on my phone.
I'm really glad I have unlimited text messaging.
I’m relieved
