Tried everything to turn off notifications, HELP

I cant turn off my phone notifications. I have tried using the phone to turn off, using the devices web page, and I have also tried even unfollowing them... Nothing works. The three im following are way to chatty when i wake up to 138 new notifications. HOW DO I TURN THEM OFF!!!!! I am about to delete my account, which I dont want to do.
