Tweet timestamps are off by hours
The JSON data that is used for including Twitter data on a website is sending incorrect time information. For a tweet that I made just now, at 1:49 PM EST (-0400) the data is:
"created_at":"Fri Jun 27 12:49:03 +0000 2008"
This is plainly wrong. If it's UTC then I'd expect it to be 5:49 PM.
It should be noted that this incorrect time is *also displayed on the website* leading me to believe there are some funky math problems going on in a more central location.

Inappropriate?It's not only off by hours, I've got a tweet that's nearly off by a *year*: http://twitter.com/Scytale/statuses/8...
My next tweet, posted about 5 minutes later, has the correct time though: http://twitter.com/Scytale/statuses/8...
The difference between those two tweets might be that the first one was sent via m.twitter.com while the second one used the "normal" web interface.
I’m confused

Inappropriate?Occasionally TWINKLE locates me in Italy and not Stafford Va.!

Would you mind elaborating on how exactly this is related to the problem which is being discussed here? -
Inappropriate?Mine are out by exactly 5 hours. My timezone setting in Twitter makes no difference. Very annoying.
I’m frustrated
