Inappropriate?I'm with you...I "unsubscribed" and changed my password on Twitter, and now I'm locked out of my Twitter account because I have too many attempts...I can only assume all the attempts are tweeterfollow trying to log in under my username and password!!! Ugh!

Inappropriate?Try changing your username. You will retain all who are following you and who you are following. The only thing is you won't get replies (@username) from your old username, however you can try searching '@previoususername' and save that search and constantly check it to see who all replied to your previous username. If you change your password without changing your username, you may be locked out of your account due to numerous unsuccessful log-in attempts by whatever app is spamming your account. -

Inappropriate?If you go back to tweeterfollow and login again, there's a 'close account' option right at the bottom of the page.
Just used it now, hopefully it will work!
