twiiter wont send sms to my phone number

twitter is telling me they do not support sending sms to my ohone, i have called my phone service and there is not reason for this to be happening what do i do?

I’m sad

i am a us cellular carrier and live in east peoria illinois the us cellular store i got my phone from says i should be able to use twitter because she is able to but it says that they do not support sending sms messages to my number? what is causing this
