twitter account disappeared
my twitter account disappeared, can this be fixed?
disappeared tonight around 10pm June 4, 08
twitter texted me asking what my user name is, I accidently said a different username
then twitter was no longer posting my posts
and then in order to post this post i had to create a whole new user account!

Inappropriate?Hi. Yes, this forum (Getsatisfaction.com) is a site that operates independently of Twitter, so a separate login is required (at least until OpenID/Oauth is implemented by Twitter).
In another topic started by someone who has a similar "missing account" problem, Twitter Support requests that you:
Please use http://twitter.com/help/ to send your username, email address, and approximately when you were unable to sign in.

Inappropriate?hi, my twitter account has also disappeared. it's happened before but never for longer that a couple of hours before it returns.
it's been about 27 hours now. I emailed support but still haven't heard back (it did say they have a big backlog though)
just seen a blogpost by someone this year who the same thing happened to - his account was lost and twitter weren't able to recover it. really hope that doesnt happen to me - been very active on it to build up followers.
