Inappropriate?I think they have some "growing pains" going on... but they are royally peein thier clients off without notification... and in a "social environment" that is not a clever thing to do.
If "twitter gods" are listening... please note...
Twitter has grown rapidly... it can also fall rapidly... communication is what Twitter is all about... so Twitter everyone if your playing with the system... or maybe reply to your customers queries!

Inappropriate?The exact same thing just happened to me. I was given a brief warning in the form of a banner on a single page of my account that I disregarded since I knew I was doing nothing wrong and was well aware of Twitter's technical glitches over the months. But then I was fully suspended and accused of being "antisocial." I have no idea what that means and I've sent four messages to Twitter Support that have all gone unanswered over the course of six days.

Inappropriate?I too am having this problem. I have never violated the terms of service.
It has been about two weeks since my account was first disabled.
I put in a request on help.twitter.com to have my account re-enabled (as suggested on the link included in the suspension message), but have received zero response from twitter.
