Inappropriate? What is the story with "Eric Franco"? He started the Fanblast tour and set up shout outs, then just disappeared, supposedly to take care of sick mom. He was going to sell Tshirts but at the shout outs it seemed more like some kind of cheap operation! He said he was a friend of the family but it appeared that he didn't want to be in pictures or video.

Inappropriate?Hey i wonder if this is potentially a 'feature request'...
Could twitter allows users to report 'scam/spam' on potential users?
Could be something as simple as a vote button to say this is scam/spam? This would be similar to how you would comment on youtube.com.
cheers,

Inappropriate?paulidownunder:
You can already report spam to Twitter via http://twitter.com/help/ .
The left-hand dropdown box includes the option spam request.
I recommend including a link to this Get Satisfaction thread so that Twitter can easily find and follow the wider discussion.
You should receive an automated email confirmation of receipt almost immediately.
As Twitter deals with help requests sequentially, and usually has a backlog, it may be several days before you receive a human reply.
