Twitter allows porn?!
"fashionmen" has a nude woman as their profile pic. Why is this allowed? How can we get that taken down? Does Twitter allow porn? Aren't they in violation of something? Maybe their page can be taken down. I'm pretty upset about this now.

There is a difference between a topless woman and fellatio, so you're completely missing my point. I said that the picture the original poster referred to wasn't porn, and now you're arguing with me as if I said that the picture YOU saw wasn't porn. So stick the topic at hand instead of making things up and sounding like an idiot.

Inappropriate?I just got a follower who's pic was of an held open vagina! Twitter is supposed to be for everyone!!! That's not something I want my kids seeing while I'm on Twitter!!

Hmm... firstly, I never called anyone an idiot, I merely said they sounded like one. Second, if they have a legitimate right to offended by breasts then I have a legitimate right to be offended by them. When I say "get over it" I mean that they aren't being forced to follow anyone with pictures they find distasteful. If you don't like it, then just move on. Don't get upset and try to report them just because they have a picture up of a woman without a top. It wasn't porn. Lastly, I am not being rude I am just being honest. 'Crew' responded to me arguing with me as if I said that what they saw wasn't porn. The comment made so sense. It's rude to me that people cannot follow a topic and stay on track. I guess I shouldn't be surprised when people that get offended by breasts also get offended by my honesty and bluntness. WOOPS!

Inappropriate?I have had several hos follow me on twitter, i block them as soon as i can but sometimes that is not soon enough. I run a business i really don't want these sluts following me. And personally nobody is buying into the nudity as a form of art. Call it what it is porn. There are young folks that use twitter so it really shouldn't be permitted. I hate to see twitter go down the tubes because of these undesirables!

I’m tired of Twitter's site being called Get Satisfaction when it does nothing of the sort when people complain about lewdness.

Here's how to get rid of those nasty followers:
1) Go to settings, and click "Protect my updates", then click "Save"
2) Go to your list of followers, and now one of your choices in the little Tool dropdown is"remove". This will get rid of that follower.
3) When you're done, go back & unprotect your updates.

I had to go the their profile to block them and confirm the block. It was the only way to remove them completely. Didn't work from the new "followers" interface.

Please repost this info on forums where people are complaining, so that they too can know how to successfully block these porn spammers. -
Inappropriate?Another solution: Use twitblock.org. You sign in, it scans your followers, and rates them for spamminess. The prn girls are usually spammy, rated around 500 - so you just go down the list and block them all in one shot, like 5 seconds.
Great too, that you don't have to look at their twitter pages.
