Twitter, what are you going to do?

I was alerted to this issue from a friend on twitter. The person is openly discussing perverted issues with other twitter members. This serious issue needs to be fully corrected and investigated and be twtitters main and top priority!

I do hope you've passed the relevant user name(s) to Twitter support (http://twitter.com/help) so that they can find the culprit(s) and take the necessary action.

It was a good decision to keep silent on the names here 'in public' and thus avoid attracting further undesirable traffic to such sites.

I'm very glad to hear this issue has been dealt with so fast. However this is onl;y going to be one of many groups who talk about inappropriate subjects and so I hope Twitter spends a portion of its time in combating bad members such as "StuPervHelm". I also hope that his friends who engage in his sick love for perverted discussions are also banned.

ugh! I'm so pleased that it was removed but I do hope that the authorities were notified as well!!

I'm rather annoyed with this account too. It was widely believed that I was the culprit behind this account, I was not.

As a result of this my reputation has been damaged.

The account, from my understanding, was a parody based upon another Twitter user (stuhelm), who has conducted several suspect relationships with children outside of Twitter; going as far as to take disturbing sexual images of himself and sending them to minors.

I neither endorse or care to be affiliated with the actions of "StuPervHelm" but I do believe that the creator behind the account had a meaningful message to get out.

I thought parody and freedom of speech was permitted by the first amendment, or does Twitter not recognise the American Constitution?
