Twitter did not post several of my SMS updates.

I as well have had no updated posted from my SMS since 8AM, kind of a drag considering I update a few times an hour.

Over the past 24 hours or so, a few users have reported SMS text messages being posted on Twitter only after a delay of several hours (if at all).

I'm trying to make sense of this in another thread. You may wish to post there, too, and include any information you find relevant. If enough users post there, Twitter should become interested enough to look into the issue.

As I find them, I'm giving related threads the tag sms 2008oct31.

Tried posting an update via Verizon SMS at 5:48pm EST and have not seen the update on my Twitter page.

rageear and other Verizon (USA) users:
There's now a thread specifically for Verizon (USA) users where crystal from Twitter is collecting information from the users affected.
I recommend that you add your information there, too:
• Your country - USA
• Your mobile carrier - Verizon
• The Twitter number you use for SMS text - (should be 40404)
• Your Twitter username
• Any other information you think might be relevant.

If you have this or a similar problem, I recommend you append your infos to one of the following threads where Twitter is participating:

• Users in Canada Unable to Verify Phones or Send Tweets Via 21212 (Late Oct 2008)

• Verizon (USA) users

• Other users whose SMS aren't getting through (from late Oct 2008).

where Emee and crystal (respectively) are collecting users' data for Canada and for Verizon (USA), respectively, to help cure the underlying problems.

Many users have reported in those threads, making them quite long.
So please look out for the newest information, especially if this post is a few days (or more) old as you read it.
Things are moving quite quickly as I write.
