Twitter emailing warning messages to users that do not originate from Twitter
I received a couple email messages from Twitter warning me that I have been Spamming Twitter and that I should reply to Twitter or my account will be deleted! When I check the properties of the email the message in each case originated from a server which is not the Twitter email server!
My question, is Twitter sending warning message to Twitter users that do not originate from Twitter.com email server? Twitter should not be doing this, because users are being deceived by being contacted by a party that is not part of the Twitter team! This is a violation of Twitter user rights! Twitter should not be sharing user data with outside contractors!
Can a Twitter representative confirm that these user warning messages are not being sent by Twitter Inc.
Thank you,
Igor

Inappropriate? These messages were sent by us. Twitter will send from either abuse@twitter.com or support@twitter.com. However, the messages may be sent via Helpspot (our support ticket tool) or Gmail.
If sent by Helpspot, there will be headers indicating this and you will see our postmaster.twitter.com domain included.
If sent by Gmail on behalf of support@twitter.com, you will see an SPF record indicating that the domain of support@twitter.com designates the Gmail server to send on our behalf.
Either of these are common, permitted practices.
Please respond to the warnings sent regarding your account or you are in danger of being terminated. -
Thanks for clarifying, Jason. I take it, though, that you actually meant his *account* is in danger of being terminated...? ;-P (sorry, couldn't resist) -
Inappropriate?Jason thank you for your response! But the message header was not from Helpspot but from a private domain! Also there was no "postmaster.twitter.com" Header! It could have been Pfishing! I do not want to post the domain here because I do not want to bring this situation to the public!
There is a certain problem that I do want to discuss with you that is concerned about Twitter community. I speak on behalf of a number of bloggers and companies who have contacted me asking for help.
I would like to talk to you about this problem. Please contact me at email
