Twitter fails miserably using FireFox when trying to sign-up!
why does twitter not warn people signing up not to use the FireFox browser? I have signed up for twitter throwing away 2 of my favorite userids. now, i cannot sign-up for twitter using my favorite screen names because twitter says there are already taken but now nobody can use them. What type of nightmare interface do they have that does not work with their so-called "two words" scheme excpet I.E.?

Inappropriate?Hello. Could you kindly describe what happens on screen that looks like Twitter "throws away" your user ids? And what error message is shown (if there is one)?
I use Firefox with Twitter and have been able to create three different accounts, the most recent one was created just three weeks ago. -
Inappropriate?Yeah, I just signed up using Firefox and it won't let me sign-in. However I was able to search my MSN contacts in Step 2 of the sign-up process and it appears to have successfully signed me up. Yet now, when I use the correct user ID and password combo, I cannot sign in. If Twitter exclusively interfaces with I.E., I will need to delete/disable this account as I.E. is fraught with problems.

I can guarantee you that Twitter doesn't require IE. I just created another account today using Firefox 2.0.0.14 on WinXP without problems. -
Inappropriate?I am using fire fox 3.0.1, scripts accepted, pop up turned off and twitter works ok, as far as me being able to Update; however, none of the "buttons" or hyper links work....my followers have to be added via the follow command....kinda sux. Also, when are we going to be able to add our thunderbird address book?

Inappropriate?I could not sign up using Firefox 3.0.10 getting an error message:
403 Forbidden: The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it.
Finally was able to sign up and log in using Safari on my Mac OS10.4.11 but still have to use Safari to access Twitter -
Inappropriate?I have the same problem as geezenslaw, signed up 3 times, each time I was told my chosen username was available.. Now those id's are no longer available, so I assume the account was created, but when I try to log in I get the same error message as Larry.
403 Forbidden: The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it.
I'm using FF 3.0.10, turned off Noscript and Adblockplus, cookies allowed.
