Inappropriate?Again? When did it work in recent memory? I'd love to be able to use Im to post to Twitter, but it hasn't ever worked since I joined.

Inappropriate?When I initially signed up with twitter, three months back, it workd beautifully. Then is just quit working for no apparent reason. I really liked the feature to update my twitter and facebook app simultaneously through google talk on my blackberry.
I’m confused/pissed!

Inappropriate?My guess is never. The Twitter people have proven time and again that IM is not a top priority, despite the words that they use here and in the status blog.
I’m pissed that Twitter still doesn't get it.

RSS via IM isn't the same functionality. Especially considering that Twitter's RSS feed sometimes has to be validated with a login and password... -
yea i found that out after i said this lol still cant get the thing to work :( will probly end up leaving twitter soon with all this shabbyness :s

Inappropriate?I want it back on Gtalk, too, and I am getting tired of Twitter saying that they are working on it. It's been several months since it has worked.They are about to or have rolled out a new big change to Twitter. Why don't they fix what they have that isn't working properly before they make changes to it.
I’m pissed. I want IM back so I can get it on gtalk on my Blackberry.

Inappropriate?Is Twitter trying to "buy" an IM system from somebody and have foolishly agreed to an NDA or something? They're not even really "saying" that they're working on it any more, either - just uninformative "we're working on it" one-sentence statements from weeks or months ago which may or may not still be true. status.twitter.com has had the same message, verbatim, claiming that they're "working on additional capacity" for months, but no actual mention other than that anywhere that I can see.
Hey, Twitter, how about mentioning how restoration of IM is going on the status.twitter.com updates once in a while?
I’m feeling like we're being ignored and considered "inconvenient"

Please....Crystal et al won't respond anymore. Seems like the old Twitter, the one that kept us up to date, has taken some pages out of the corporate playbooks and decided to avoid discussing issues they cannot resolve. From the looks of things, they still have a lot of maintenance issues that aren't going away.
