Twitter/IM very slow, fallen behind and can't get up?
Dunno if this is happening only to me, but Twitter/IM is having problems showing me new tweets from the people I follow.
Over the last couple of hours, I've been observing the IM interface falling further and further behind -- right now, I just received a tweet that /home is showing me was sent an hour ago(!). Commands like "on" and "stats" seem to also match the delay in reply timing.
On the other hand, my tweets show up when I send them.
Update:
I should also mention what I tried so far:
- signing out of GTalk and back in again
- removing twitter@twitter.com from GTalk and re-adding
- sending 'off', 'off', then 'on' again after some delay
None of these seemed to help.

Inappropriate?I get updates just fine on SMS but my gmail IM is getting nothing. When I post by IM it's fine; I am just not getting any replies.

Inappropriate?@ev is one of the guys at twitter. Just report your problems here... they are getting the reports and working on it. Just be patient.

Inappropriate?As some folks noticed, we found a bug which caused delays for some SMS/IM notifications. The web and API were not affected. The bug is now fixed and we are catching up to real time right now.

Inappropriate?My whole Twitter Circle is having this problem, and not just with SMS. I'm directly on the site and my tweets don't show up for 45 minutes. I'll just put my patience pants on and wait a bit...
