Inappropriate?Go to your list url for example twitter.com/username/list,
Then at the side bar at the top theres a button that says delete. That will delete the list completely -
Inappropriate?I know that, the problem is that the list don't get deleted after doing so :D

Inappropriate?I deleted a list and it worked for me doing it that way. A bit strange.
-
Inappropriate?Yeah, it works for everyone else but me, one more thing is that my friends can't add me to their lists :(
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Opera 10 don't delete or edit lists, just add. I've tried in Firefox 3.5 and works fine.
-
Inappropriate?I can edit all my lists except for one. I can't edit it, I can't delete it, I can't add people to it.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Same for me. There is no option to delete, and I can't edit the list. I want to take some people off and add others, and I can't do anything.
I’m tired of wasting time trying to figure this out.

I think the problem may be with Internet Explorer and Opera... maybe trying Firefox or Google Chrome will help... -
Inappropriate?Well, part of the problem, I'm ashamed to say, was me. I didn't see the extra arrow to the right of the list name. All I saw was New List | View All. But, having said that and seeing now that I have the option to delete the list or edit it, the editing portion consists of only renaming it, adding a description, and making it public or private. I want to be able to add or delete people. I don't want to have to create a new list every time I want to do that, but apparently that's what I have to do. Lame. I think I will stick with my Smart Lists in Socialite [formerly EventBox].

Inappropriate?I had the problem with Firefox, but only with one account on one computer. Using a different twitter account on a different computer did not produce the same problem. I downloaded a newer version of Firefox on the computer where I was having the issue. In the meantime, I had resolved my own reason for needing to edit the list in a different way, so didn't pursue this, but it's worth a try.

Inappropriate?Robin, to remove someone from a list go to your "following" page... there is a tool the the right of their name that will let you manage lists... this usually works... I had someone on a list once that I didn't put there and there was no way to remove them.. I finally deleted the list.. I'm just glad it was a short list...
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? But, I don't want to stop following them. I just want to NOT have them in the list I look at the most. That's the point of lists, grouping things in a certain fashion. I had people I thought I wanted to read every time they posted and then I found out they post way too much, and I don't care to read them that often, so I just want to move them to another list or just drop them from my "important" list. I hope Twitter will come around to seeing that we need to work with these lists and not just create it and let it be. I tidied up my Socialite with smart lists, and I'm happy. But, if Twitter wants to keep people using the online service, they will have to let us edit our lists easily, without having to delete and recreate ... IMO.

Inappropriate?Had same problem but I was able to edit my lists using tweetdeck...
-
Inappropriate?Robin, I'm sorry if I didn't explain it well... you can go to your "follow" page and manage the list in which your friend appears... you're not removing them as someone you are following, you will only be removing them from the list you look at the most... to the right of their name should be a drop down menu of all your lists... then just check and uncheck the radio box beside the list to add or remove someone from the list... this will not cause you to stop following them...
I’m perplexed
-
Inappropriate?Ah, I see! Kind of a roundabout way, but indeed, that is it. Thanks very much.
